I guess you should know that I LOVE photography and I LOVE kids!  I started working with children in a preschool at age 18 while in college and getting my degree in Elementary Education.  After I received my degree I really didn’t want to leave the  preschool aged children so I continued working in the preschool setting. I quickly moved up to become a director and then moved on to own my preschool for 10 years. I started taking pictures when my son was born.  I quickly became addicted to capturing those priceless moments and couldn’t get enough. There is where my love for family photography was born.  I not only wanted to capture those moments but I wanted to do it with quality photography.   I strived (and continue to strive) to create timeless images and spend hours learning and growing through the lens of the camera.  I truly enjoy learning through photography workshops, on line classes and meeting other photographers.  I love not only capturing those classic smiling pictures but also the moments in between.  Sometimes the most heart touching portraits are the ones that are the interactions between families and truly capture personality.  Those are the moments that inspire me touch my heart.   I continue to grow and learn through photography each day and love meeting new couples and families and watching my current families grow. My focus is on capturing the special moments between couples, familes, children and of course, newborn babies, through photography.

I have 2 children and 1 amazing husband (yes, just one ha!).  Your morning coffee is my morning Dr. Pepper. (Shhh, don’t tell, it’s actually embarrassing).  I LOVE chocolate and will usually turn down anything vanilla. Shopping?.... YES!  Out to eat?.... YES (infact, I could probably count on 1 hand how many times I have eaten lunch at home in the last year)... I am a sucker for movies with popcorn and M&M’s.  Summer time in my family is all about the boat and the beach.  I am sure I could bore you with lots more crazy things but you’ll have to meet me to find out more!  Give me a call... I would love to answer all your dying questions! LOL!
