Beach session, well, maybe not so much! (tampa, clearwater, family photographer)

So, this time of the year is really difficult to keep a beach session.  The weather rains EVERY DAY at sunset or right before.  This family had already rescheduled due to weather once so we were determined to make it happen this time.  Yeah, mother nature had a different idea!  Tara and her family (www.tarafreidley.com) were troopers but I think we had more out take images than anything else.  Just thought it would be fun to post a few, as you can tell, we will have to reschedule again.  It rained before, during and after.  Here is what a beach session looks like when you try to make it work with bad weather! :)   Enjoy, I hope it brings you a few smiles!

Then a rainbow came out… I thought maybe this would bring us some good luck…. not so much! :)

I think this is pretty much the way the evening was (at least weather wise)!  I couldn’t help but post these two hilarious images.  They are truly some of my favorites ever and will for sure be going on the “out takes” album on the Tracy Gabbard Photography Facebook fan page.  Don’t forget to join!  Just click the facebook logo up at the top of the blog!

Cutie Pie (tampa, clearwater childrens and family photographer)

I love it when clients bring in something special from home to use as a prop in some of the images.  This family brought in a blanket that great grandma made.  How special is that?  These types of portraits always make such special portraits for the family also.  Here is a little preview for mom and grandma…. gallery coming soon girls! :)

This last one is my favorite… remember the days when your “baby(ies)” were really babies and they used to just “maul” your face when giving you kisses?  Look how adorable!  I miss those big open mouth kisses…. priceless!

**Just as a side note… I filled two more Sneak Peak Of Santa Mini sessions times today,  only a few left!  It is such a FUN session for families I can’t wait! Call or email soon if you are interested! If you check the blog post below there is a little bit more info on it.

Great Adventure! (tampa, clearwater high school senior photographer)

This high school senior had no idea he was in for an adventure when he walked in.  I think he was secretly dreading a photo session as many high school senior boys do but he left smiling and laughing so I am thinking it went okay! :)   Anyway, he requested an in studio session but when he arrived I asked him if he was “game” for a little outing at the end of our session.  I am not sure he though it would require hard hats for part of it but it was so worth it as we got some really different and fun images from that “field trip”!  Hey, you never know what you are getting into when you schedule a session with TGP! :)

High School Seniors! (tampa, clearwater, high school senior photography)

I am sad to say that this is this Seniors last session with me! She has been such a blast and we have some amazing images from her sessions.  She will have a beautiful album in the end with images that she is proud of and loves.  And look at her adorable dog!  Senior sessions are always best when you bring something you love that is personal to you, a pet, a collection, trophies… anything that represents what you love and who you are during this special time.  Get creative… I love it!  Here are some fun images from her in studio session…

Two beautiful “babes” (Tampa, clearwater childrens, baby photographer)

Take a look at these two precious siblings!  They are only missing their older brother who has red hair… can you believe that!  I can’t wait until our next session as I am sure he will be included!  Daddy better be teaching him to protect his little sisters as I am sure, with their big blue eyes, daddy might need help beating off those boys knocking on the door! Ha Ha!  Thanks for a great session “C” family, enjoy your sneak peak!

Clearwater High Girls Volleyball team! (tampa, clearwater high school senior photographer)

These girls came in for a quick session and were such a blast!  It only took some loud music and a little encouraging to get them to loosen up and “strike a pose” but once they did… watch out!  Look how great they all look!   Do all girls high school volley ball teams look this good?  Thanks girls, you were great fun and I hope you enjoy your gallery and these quick sneak peaks!

Happy Birthday! (tampa, clearwater baby photographer)

What was the most difficult thing about this session?  Trying to narrow down the images and choose a just a few to blog!  This little guy is the big ONE and he and his precious sister joined me for a fun smash cake date!  Some of you might remember him from his newborn session.  He has officially competed the New Beginnings Collection and has grown more than enough to prove it!  Here is one from his newborn session just for fun and then a few to “oh and ahhh” over from his one year old session!  Enjoy mom and dad…I am glad it is not me choosing from this gallery! :)
